Dragon’s Dogma 2, the long-awaited sequel to the beloved action RPG, has finally arrived on the Ps5, and it’s already captivating players with its rich lore, engaging gameplay, and, of course, a plethora of hidden easter eggs. These little secrets and references are scattered throughout the game, waiting to be discovered by the most observant and adventurous Arisen. This blog will delve into some of the most intriguing easter eggs found in Dragon’s Dogma 2 Ps5.

1. A Nod to the Original Dragon’s Dogma

Firstly, there is a nod to the first Dragon Dogma game, in the first village you start your story., Selene, the witch from the Witchwood. Well, she doesn’t have a great place in the story, only a short dialogue to speak about the events happened in the first game, but still this easter egg makes people who played the first game feel at home. 

2. Hidden References to Other Titles

Capcom loves giving references to their other games a lot. For example, there is a mysterious merchant who mentions a village being infested by an army of undead, which is a reference to Resident Evil

Another reference to a popular game, Devil May Cry is also here. While you are moving on with Sphinx’s riddles, a mission is given to you. It is about talking to 2 NPCs, whose names are Dante and Vergil, two demon hunters from the game “Devil May Cry”.

3. Hidden Messages in the Stars

In such a free game, it is fun to stop for a second and gaze the stars. But hey, when you do it you will see some interesting shapes resembling the symbol of the Assassin’s Creed, or Legend of Zelda. There are many more different icons referencing the other classic games. To see all of them, you have to enjoy the Dragon’s Dogma 2’s open world and look at the stars a lot.

4. The Elusive Golden Egg

In difficult places to reach you will find golden eggs, and if you manage to collect all of them, you will be allowed in a dungeon where you will find many difficult monsters and lots of quality loot. These eggs are like playing real world easter eggs, but even better. It makes you game experience memorable.

5. The Mysterious Pawns

A new and great feature of Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the pawn system, of course. And you may come across pawns that look like Geralt from The Witcher or different characters from pop-culture like Game of Thrones. These pawns do not only provide help during missions but also adds humour to the game.

6. The Secret Developer Room

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Ps5 has many different secret dungeons and places to find. Some of them require you to do some quests and obtain specific items, while others need more unconventional methods. Developer’s Room is, on the other hand is quite difficult to find and needs you to ace the game. Will you be able to find it?

8. Kratos the God Of War?

In “A Candle In The Storm” quest, you need to go to a prison and speak with an assassin. However, during this quest, you may see a character named Ashe, aka Coral Snake. He looks like Kratos from God of War with his quite large and muscular body and red paintings in his head. The video below shows where to find it. He doesn’t have an important role in the mission though.
